Muslim Prayer is built to respect your privacy. It requires no account, contains no analytics or trackers, and does not collect or transmit your personal data to us or anyone else. What you create in the app stays on your device.
Your bookmarks, reflections and notes, reading progress and streaks, prayer log, Khatm plans, chosen prayer-time method and saved location, theme and font choices, and other settings are stored only in a local database on your phone. This information never leaves your device through the app, and it is permanently removed when you uninstall the app.
If — and only if — you choose to use your location for prayer times or the Qibla direction, the app reads your device location to calculate those on your phone. Your location is used on-device only. It is never uploaded, stored on a server, or shared. You may instead pick a city manually and never grant location access.
Prayer reminders, daily reminders, Islamic event reminders and the Verse of the Day are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content is sent over the internet.
The "Verse on lock screen" feature draws a verse image on your device and, if you choose, applies it as your lock-screen wallpaper using the system wallpaper service. This happens entirely on your phone.
The free version shows a small number of ads served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's advertising service may collect device information such as your advertising ID, IP address, coarse location and diagnostic data, as described in Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob's data practices. Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), the app asks for your consent before showing personalised ads, and you can change that choice at any time. Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.
Optional Premium purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or bank details.
Nothing. Beyond the advertising service described above, the app contains no analytics SDKs and no third-party trackers. Your reading progress, prayer log, reflections and settings never leave your device.
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
