Image to PDF - PDF ScanPro (“the App”) is a document scanning and PDF utility app published by Gimy Studios. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
We do not collect, transmit or store: your documents, scans, photos, PDFs, text extracted by OCR, PDF passwords, file names, contacts, precise location, or any account information. PDF passwords you set are used only on your device to encrypt the file and are never stored by the App.
The App uses the following Google services, which collect limited data to provide their function:
AdMob may collect and use: advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, coarse location derived from IP, device type and model, operating system version, and ad interaction data (views, clicks). This data is used to serve and measure ads and to detect fraud. Where required by law (for example in the EEA/UK), the App shows a consent message before personalised ads are served, and you may decline personalised advertising. If the App crashes, Crashlytics collects: crash stack traces, device model, operating system version, and an app-instance identifier. This helps us fix bugs. Crash data contains no document content. Learn more: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
The App uses ML Kit’s on-device document scanner and text recognition. Processing happens on your device; your images and recognised text are not sent to Google by the App.
The App does not request microphone, contacts, or location permissions.
Created PDFs are stored on your device: inside the App’s private storage and
(for your convenience) a copy in your device’s public Downloads/ScanPro
folder. You can delete them at any time using the App or your file manager.
Deleting the App removes its private storage; files you exported to
Downloads remain until you delete them.
You may voluntarily watch rewarded video ads to disable ads for 24 hours. Your progress and the ad-free expiry time are stored only on your device.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your documents remain on your device under your control. PDF password protection uses AES-256 encryption. Note: if you forget a password you set on a PDF, it cannot be recovered.
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the App’s update notes.
